Second Stop-Motion July 7, 2009
Just quickly posting my second shot at the project, didn’t get to turn it in (stupid computers hating my camera).
Anyway, I like it a lot might play around with the frame rate a bit to make it look a bit more fluid, but I love how the music fits in like this so I’m on the fence.

New Camera and Random Class Project July 6, 2009
So yea I officially have the greatest father on the planet, as if that was in question before hand, but out of nowhere he went out and bought me a Nikon D60 and a 55mm-200mm zoom lens. So I hope to really get a jump start on my photography, I start my 3rd side job this Friday, taking pictures of local bands for http://www.redsticklive.com and I’m hoping that it works out well for me.
My first project using it was to create a “digital flipbook,” and I used pictures and a Shana Figma that I own to do a quick stop-motion animation. Overall you can tell that it was done in like 30 min, but it would look better if it wasn’t for the one skip in positioning, I thought it was a lot smoother when I was taking that shots, but whatever. I hope to get the chance to make a second short tonight, provided my friends are free and it doesn’t rain anymore. If it turns out decently I’ll post it.
